not permit cars and the like. This is the only neighbourhood where walking and
cycling are the only modes of transportation. It is home to a total of 250
houses and 650 residents. Still, it is one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods
as there is a long list of purchasers who hope to someday get the chance
to live here.
Most of the shopping is done on
the mainland but there is a grocery store that delivers food once a week and a
milkman delivers twice a week. Toronto Islands are an excellent place to go
cycling, jogging, and canoeing.
Ferries run seven days a week and
operate all year round making travelling back and forth from the mainland a
