Lcated right next to the
University of Toronto, South Annex is vibrant and colorful and is full of
vitality. A good amount of University students, faculty and alumni rent or own
houses in this neighbourhood.
Bloor Street is lined with pubs,
music shops, bookstores and restaurants. You’ll find a diverse shopping market
on Mirvish Village that offers craft stores, bookstores, antique shops,
galleries and special boutiques. Fine restaurants and more sophisticated
shopping can be found at Harbord Street and is famous for its excellent craft
stores, bookstores, and galleries.
Public transit is readily
available. College and Bathurst streets have streetcar service while Harbord
Street has a regular bus route. Residents are linked to Toronto’s rapid transit
lines from the Bathurst and Spadina subway stations. It only takes a few
minutes to get to the major highways from South Annex.
