Balance between residential and
industrial neighbourhood can be found here in Niagara. Street names in Niagara
are reminders of its military past before it emerged as a prominent industrial
centre in the 1850’s. This neighbourhood however, is now in transition to being
a more residential community and less industry.
Queen Street West provides a
great array of antique shops, art galleries, fashion stores, food markets and
restaurants. King Street also can be a good place to shop for day-to-day needs.
Streetcar service runs on Queen
Street, King Street, and Bathurst Street. Residents are minutes away from the
Gardiner Expressway and Lake Shore Boulevard.
