Italy in not an exclusive Italian neighbourhood. Although there is strong
evidence of Italian culture here, there is also a large amount of Portuguese
settlers here and is still welcoming new neighbours. It is now considered as
Toronto’s most multi-cultural neighbourhood.
Authentic Italian and European
restaurants are plenty along College Street. Fresh fruits, vegetables, bakeries
and seafood are available on Dundas Street. Cafes that cater authentic
Portuguese cuisine can also be found here.

Avenue and street car service on College Street, Dundas Street and Bathurst
Street makes commuting very easy. Motorists are ten minutes away of the
Gardiner Expressway and Lake Shore Boulevard.
