Situated in one of Toronto’s most
historic areas, this neighbourhood is welcoming its first residents. This new residential neighbourhood occupies 43 acres to the north of the actual
Fort York historic site. Historic Fort York stood at the foot of Toronto near
the shoreline of Lake Ontario since 1793. The Battle of York took place here in
1811 where it was destroyed by the Americans but rebuilt in 1814.
Household goods are available
along Queens Quay and King Street. Residents are also within walking distance
of the theatres and Entertainment District along King Street.
Residents can easily walk or ride
downtown. Public transit with bus service and street cars are convenient as
well. Motorists can easily access Toronto’s commuter highways through Lake
Shore Boulevard and the Gardiner Expressway.
